Ted Strikes Again!

Some of you may know about Ted, one of my alter egos.

Ted takes pleasure in complaining about rediculous things to companies.

Here's the one I sent out today:

Hello,
I just ate one of your stringsters and I have found a sexist comment in one of your answers.

The question is "How did the chicken keep the beat" and the answer is "With his drumsticks".

This is not congruent with the standard american english usage of Rooster denoting a male and chicken meaning female.

I normally would reserve such trivial matters to personal tirades to friends and family, but I feel since string cheese is primarily marketed to children we cannot have our youth indoctrinated with such subliminal misogyny.

If perhaps this chicken has a gender issue (as sex is separate from gender) this should be explained. Society should be tolerant and accepting of all peoples, but there are no documented cases of animal gender/sex issues.

I again emphisize, I am not one to usually take issue, but given the nature of the intended audience of this riddle I believe it is important to proceed with great care to all members of society.

I urge you to take all steps necessary to prevent this from happening again.
